Chilled Rolls

Moulding shops have all the necessary facilities like Sand Mullers, Moulding Boxes & Tackles, Patterns, Mould Drying Ovens, Compressors, Ladles of various capacities from 1000 Kgs to 6000 Kgs. Heat treatments are carried out where ever required in one electric furnace of 30MT capacity. Temperature of the furnaces during heat treatment cycles are closely monitored and controlled.Assembly and Casting of Rolls are carried out in Casting Pits of various sizes and depths.

Clear Chill Iron Rolls of higher alloy level are capable of functioning well in two, three or four high mills, which are manufactured from top quality ferrous and non-ferrous sheets and narrow bands or sections of these metal alloys. These Chill Iron Rolls are highly beneficial in manufacturing the well-finished stand of the rod; these are also used in light section mills and in constant hot strip mills of various sizes or of earlier designs.
